How To Add And Manage Contacts

Contacts are the foundation of your CRM. They store customer details like email addresses, names, tags, and activity history, helping you organize, communicate, and build relationships effectively.

This guide explains how to add contacts and manage them easily from your CRM dashboard.

Add A New Contact

Step 1: Navigate to the Contacts Page

Go to 'CRM' → 'Contacts' from the main menu. Click the 'Add Contact' button.

Steps 2: Enter Contact Details

Enter the required details, 'Email Address', First & Last Name' (optional), and 'Property'. Add 'Tags' if needed to help organize the contact, and finally click 'Add Contact'.

Steps 3: Edit Contact Information

Click the 'Edit' button anytime to update contact details, tags, or properties. After making changes, click 'Save Changes'.

Steps 4: View Added Contact

The contact is added instantly and appears in your contact list. Click the 'View' button under Actions to open the contact profile and review details.

Import Contacts In Bulk

If you already have a list of contacts, you can upload them all at once using a CSV file.

Steps 5: Start the Import Process

On the 'Contacts' page, click the 'Import' button.

Steps 6: Upload Your CSV File

Click 'Choose File' and upload your CSV file containing contact details.

Steps 7: Map Fields and Complete Import

Match each CSV column to the correct CRM field (Email, Name, Tags, etc.). Once mapping is complete, click 'Import Contacts'.

All valid contacts will be added to your CRM.

Steps 8: View and Manage Contacts

The Contacts page gives you a complete overview of your audience.

You can search contacts by 'Email or Name', filter contacts using 'Tags', sort by 'Date Added' or activity, and view contact status and engagement details.

Click any contact to open their full profile and view history.

Managing your contacts is key to running successful email campaigns and maintaining strong customer relationships. Whether you're adding contacts individually or importing them in bulk, the CRM makes it easy to organize, update, and segment your audience.
